Jessie Russell (b. 1998) is a self-taught, emerging artist based in the Kingston, Ontario region. In 2019, Jessie committed to nurturing her artistic voice, embracing a path of intentional growth and self-discovery, sparking an inner drive to channel her thoughts and feelings into painting. With a natural affinity for capturing the beauty of the world around her, Jessie's artwork features landscapes, nature, and animals.
Through her art, she aims to slow down time, to freeze these fleeting moments and invite the viewer to pause, reflect, and appreciate the beauty in the everyday. Her art is a tribute to the human experience, a reminder that art is not just something we see in galleries, but something we live every day.
Though still in the early stages of her artistic journey, Jessie continues to experiment and search for her unique visual voice, striving to authentically express her inner experiences, observations, and emotions through her art.
